UX Writer

About the role as UX Writer

We are looking for a half-time UX Writer to join our growing team based in Stockholm. Being the first dedicated UX Writer at LEIA means you will play a big part in shaping the role, the way we work, and crafting the product experience together with your team members in Design, Product, and Marketing. Your role will be to create, write and ideate all touchpoints of the company. From the app to marketing channels.

You are a curious and highly motivated UX Writer who is passionate about empowering readers with your storytelling and copywriting, and has the ability to find synergies between creativity and data.

How you make an impact

In this role, you will use writing as a way to create and evolve aspects of our product experience, solve user needs and achieve business goals. It involves leveling up our writing practice in the product and marketing by using our brand guidelines. You will help push our tonality and connection to brand values and alignment with other copy functions within the product, marketing and sales.


You’ll play a key part in enabling our team to deliver our strategic goals. At LEIA, each day is different, but you can expect to:
 

  • Write UX-copy that makes the user experience excellent and highlights the value of the product. 

  • Write (medical) content about postpartum health and parental leave for several markets, but all in English (and Swedish) that will be used in the app, marketing and sales.

  • Develop and deliver copy that brings ideas to life across various brand channels and integrated campaigns: paid social, display, programmatic, video, websites etc.

  • Be a key contributor to the LEIA content.

  • Review already written content types and assess translation quality.

  • Work closely with designers, product and marketing team to ensure copy and visuals work hand-in-hand and are consistent with concepts.

  • Own and maintain language assets for English (and Swedish),  and contribute to the establishment of cross-functional best practices.
     

What you bring

You’re a content writer expert who leads the creation of human-centred experiences that deliver great user experience and engagement. You love working with teams to improve their user experience through copy. You’re a sucker for detail and quality, who drives consistency across all areas of the product and marketing. You love to create copy that educate, engage and empower your users.
 

  • 2+ years of experience in UX writing for an app and content marketing for digital channels.

  • Helped build processes and guidelines for UX writing or content design in a product context.

  • Has experience in creative development and creating concepts.

  • Has experience or created brand guidelines. 

  • Native copy skills in English, plus if you also have fluent writing skills in Swedish. 

  • Comfortable going from research to idea and implementation on your own.

  • Used to writing for many different channels/formats.

  • Have an eye for detail, including the ability to proofread your own and others’ work.

  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Motivated by being part of developing the next generation digital agency.

  • Great if you have written medical contact or have medical knowledge about postpartum.
